This is a story. A story of how my clumsiness has taught me a lesson.
So tonight I was laying my things out for school tomorrow, and I chose my favorite ring, one my friend my had got me for Christmas. It was handmade, from an artisan craft store in town. A true work of art.
So after I laid it on the floor with my selected outfit, I went to get something. I stepped, and CRUNCH. You guessed it, I stepped on the damn thing. The band broke off the actual design. After staring in horror for a minute, I rushed it upstairs to be superglued. I succeeded in reattaching the two pieces, though quite crookedly. I must say, I was quite upset, and not just because it wad my favorite ring. The truth is I was upset with myself, an artist, to be so clumsy as to break another artist's beautiful work. This ring was handmade by someone who was passionate and gifted. It was a product of love and care. That's what made it so beautiful.
But the moral of this story is, when something or even someone beautiful comes into your possession, you have to handle it with care. Because you never know, if you're not careful as I wasn't, you could end up losing it or damaging it beyond repair.
Although I think there's a duplicate of it at the store. I hope so!
Have a good day everyone!
